 Los Amigos is named for life-long friends, Jorge Rios and Adrian Fernandez who opened this gem of a restaurant in 2006. Los Amigos serves from a menu of four hundred and sixty items, all of which are homemade and prepared daily, using local produce. All of your meals are cooked to order.
Los Amigos specializes in Tex-Mex and Southwestern cuisine and their signature dishes include Southwestern fresh Tilapia, Chicken Patio Los Amigos, Mexican Seafood Soup and Mexican Chicken Soup. These specialties were created by Adrian, and customers have been known to travel long distances to enjoy these unique festive meals.
You may complete your meal with one of many signature homemade desserts. Adrian says "My flan is as creamy and rich as any Crème Brulee"
 "When I lived with my Grandmother, who took care of my sister and me, my Grandmother needed help in the kitchen and that was the beginning of my culinary journey."
Adrian later went on to attend culinary school (U.L.S.A.B.) and work at five star restaurants like Porto Bello in West Palm Beach Florida. Jorge has been managing Los Amigos since its opening.
Adrian and Jorge have known one another for the last eighteen years - since they were neighbors in Leon Guanajuato, Mexico. Jorge Rios has lived in Haywood County. NC and Waynesville, NC for more than 14 years and his friendly smile is recognized by many in the community.
Los Amigos serves local fresh ground Smokey Mountain Blend coffee, offers a large selection of Latin wine and carries over twenty premium imported and domestic beers.
Los Amigos has been voted "best Mexican Restaurant" in Haywood County two years running - each year they have been open!
 If you are in the mood to enjoy the classic Mexican mixed drink with your meal, Los Amigos is now proudly serving Adrian's and Jorge's artistic creations in twenty flavors, including lime, peach, mango, strawberry, as well as traditional favorites: the Cadillac, and Presidente. Served blended with crushed ice or on the rocks, with or without salt.
 Long appreciated by locals who have become "regulars," Los Amigos is evolving into a destination for folks who appreciate fine Mexican Cuisine.
