Restaurants in Western North Carolina - Restaurant offerings in our area can range from unique, wholesome and organic to what some would consider hardly edible...of course, none of our advertisers fit into that last category! (smiling) If you're staying at a B & B, breakfast is included and generally high quality. If you're just out and about and looking for a good cup of coffee and some whole wheat toast to start your day, you'll probably find it fairly easily. Otherwise, if you want something substantial, with good nutritional quality, you might stop in at a health food store and ask for their recommendations. - we have lots of restaurants for lunch and dinner, but every town, small or large, has some restaurants that are known to serve better food than average, and that's what you're looking for, right? And you do know that you get what you pay for? So, check out Sunset on Main in Waynesville, or Sweet Onion, both casual dress but excellent, well-prepared food. And if you're in Sylva, don't miss Spring Street Cafe, which has lots of locally grown ingredients included in every menu and sometimes organically grown if you're lucky. Bon appetite!
