The guiding aesthetic for the White house was American Southwest/adobe. Main floor walls are 10" AAC. Main floor ceiling is all cathedral and insulated with nailbase panels. Highlights: pigmented veneer plasters, ferro-cement kivi fireplace and window bench, solar-heated water, hydronic (radiant heat) throughout, whole house dehumidification and air filtering, cork flooring, bamboo kitchen counters, custom tile vanity tops and tub/shower surrounds. |
