JC's partner in Haywood High Country Special Events is Buffy Queen, a UNC-CH graduate, screenwriter, filmmaker, publicist and editor. Buffy is currently sharing the Safe Dates program with middle and high school students in Haywood County, is recently married to Jimmy Harvey and they enjoy the trials and egg-citement of living on their own little "farm-ette" in the Dellwood (Maggie Valley) section of the county, with chickens, Dexter cows, dogs and cats.
