DON AND CATHEY TAYLOR
1573 Camp creek Road - Whittier, N.C. 28789
828-497-4788 (please call ahead if you wish to visit the studios or for other inquiries.)
Bright flowers and desert scenes (one reminds us of the little church in Chimayo, New Mexico where the sacred dirt is) adorn everything from small tables to headboards in her home. The bride and groom bedposts featured on this page are a good example of the whimsical side of this unique art-form.
Don and Cat became partners four years ago. Influenced and inspired by his wife’s passion for her art Don decided to pick up the brush himself. In just two years this self- taught artist brings stunning colors and imaginative texture and style to his work. Both Cat and Don’s work is done using Acrylics. We were particularly drawn to Don’s paintings, which are done upside down and backwards on the underside of glass and look right side up from above. - Click to visit |
