POLICIES & PROCEDURES PAYMENT: A reservation deposit equal to 50% of the total rental amount will be due 10 days from the time of reservation. The balance is due 30 days prior to the arrival date. Master Card & Visa are accepted. Personal checks are accepted up to 30 days before arrival date. SECURITY DEPOSIT of $100-$500: Will be secured by holding a credit card number. Deposits may be used to repair damages or to replace missing contents. Upon arrival, please report any problems or damages or we must assume these occurred during your stay. Deposits may also be used for lost keys/locksmith charges, telephone charges, movie charges, check fees, having pets on premises, smoking, trash removal, excessive cleaning fees, or for too many guests. CANCELLATION: Your deposit is refundable if cancellation is made 31 days prior to arrival date. Cancellation fee is $50.00 Cancellations made 30 days or less prior to the reservation date will forfeit 100% of full payment. We will make every effort to re-rent the property for the same time period. Please note that we now offer the Lodging Protection Plan, insurance coverage which protects you against monetary loss in unforeseen circumstances. LODGING PROTECTION PROGRAM:> For your protection, we offer insurance that protects you against monetary loss due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness and injuries that may necessitate the cancelling of your reservation. CHECK-IN: 4:00pm or after CHECK-OUT: 10:00am CLEANING: Units are professionally cleaned after departure. Please report anything we fail to clean upon arrival. Guests are responsible for leaving the unit in reasonably clean condition, storing all dishes away, removing trash to the appointed dumpster, stripping linens from beds, starting laundry and returning keys to the lockbox. INOPERATIVE EQUIPMENT: Please report to SMG. We will have repairs done in a timely manner during reasonable business hours. Mechanical failures are beyond our control as are acts of God (bad weather & resulting damage). NO PETS OR SMOKING: Detection will result in forfeiture of entire security deposit. WATER: Most units are on a well or spring. Please use the water conservatively as unlike municipal water, the supply is limited. WHAT TO BRING: We recommend that you bring all paper products, trash bags, detergents, toiletries, beach towels and charcoal for grills. LINENS AND TOWELS: Upon arrival, your beds will be made and there will be fresh towels for the maximum occupancy for the home. WEATHER: Snowfall in the winter months is common. Take precautions with your vehicle and clothing to ensure safe enjoyment. Please be prepared with 4-wheel drive, snow tires, and or chains. Cancellations due to weather conditions are non-refundable and no moves will be made due to weather.
