Creekwood Village Resort is nestled in the heart of Maggie Valley, North Carolina. No big-city hectic lifestyle here, just a tranquil atmosphere in a picturesque setting. Two private fishing ponds, one stocked with rainbow trout, the other with bass and brim, adorn these three and one-half acres of land. Jonathan Creek flows along one side of the property and is excellent for tubing. The creek is also stocked by the state and a permit is required to fish.

The two and three bedroom cabins all feature either beamed or cathedral ceilings, front and back porches with rocking chairs, fireplaces, full kitchens with microwaves, all linens, cable TV with HBO, and electric heat.

Although our cabins have air-conditioning, at our elevation, the cool summer night temperatures often make AC unnecessary. So just sit back and let the babbling of the creek behind your cabin lull you to sleep.

Close by enjoy the Maggie Valley rentals, The Blue Ridge Parkway, Great Smoky Mountains National Park with senic drive and countless miles of trails to explore, waterfalls, streams, horseback riding, picnicing, whitewater rafting, antiquing, fine dining, Harah's Cherokee Casino and the Cherokee Indian Reservation with history museums, shows and more.

In the summer the days are temperate with highs rarly leaving the 80s while the evenings are cool in the 50s and 60s. There is even more great things to do close by. From the Biltmore Estate in Asheville 30 minutes east and the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad 30 minutes to the west, our Cabins are the great place to start your vacation plans.

In the winter Cataloochee Ski Area challenges skiiers of all skill levels. Moody Top at over 1 mile in elevation and Cataloochee's ever improving ability to make snow as the temperatures drop, assure great skiing is close by. Tube World in the Valley is even closer to our rentals. Just at the end of the valley, you can experience the thrill of snow tubing.

Fall is when natures show really begins. The mountains that surrond the valley rise to over 2000 feet above the valley floor. The change of elevation assures that the display of autumn color will not be fleeting. The reds of the sugar maples adorn the valley and the yellows of the puplars and golds of the oaks fill in the background. A drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway in October will certainly be a memory that will last a life time. Water Rock Knob is a great place to hike or picnic and is just a short drive on the parkway. A short drive in the oppisite direction the parkway ends at the entrance of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The park is one of the most visited parks in the country and for good reason, but experience the park, you'll need to leave the car and take one of the many trails that take you into the quiet of the woods.
